ČKD Blansko Engineering, a.s. – Technical Standardization Center (TSC) for hydraulic machines

As at 31 December, 2008, the Czech Institute for Standards (CIS) was transformed and the standardization activity was integrated in the Office for Standards, Metrology and Testing (OSMT).
Resulting from the transformation and based on the general contract with the OSMT, the ČKD Blansko Engineering, a.s. was awarded a license to use the title “Technical Standardization Center“ for
 -  Hydraulic turbines, storage pumps and pump turbines (IEC/TC4, CLC/SR4);
 -  Marine energy - Wave, tidal and other water current converters (IEC/TC114).
The TSC in the ČKD Blansko Engineering, a.s. will ensure standardization of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) in co-operation with the Czech Technical Standardization Commission No. 48.
The main task of the TSC is to ensure comments on proposals of the IEC Standards and European Standards in hydro power business, and co-operation at their implementation in the system of the Czech Standards (ČSN).
