HYDRO 2008

The 15th annual conference called HYDRO 2008 took place in the Slovenian capital Ljubljana on 6 - 8 October, 2008.
The conference was attended by delegates from 75 countries. Major points of the agenda  were design improvement and equipment implementation of hydro power plants, discussions on climate changes, design of infrastructures against floods and earthquake, increasing importance of pump storage hydro power plants, and control and efficiency improvement of hydraulic machines. 
At the accompanying trade fair our company was presented at the booth as a part of the Litostroj Power association.

An active participant of our company was Dr Jiří Špidla, who performed a presentation on high-head pump turbine cavitation characteristics.
