Ngoi Hut 2 - successful model tests

Between 20 -  23 December,2011, on a newly built second testing rig at the hydraulic laboratory in Blansko, model tests were successfully performed of a vertical Pelton turbine for the  Ngoi Hut 2 project in Vietnam. The tests were attended by the representatives of the Flovel company from India and representatives of the final Vietnamese client, the company Truong Thanh Deconin.

The measured values are in accordance with the guaranteed parameters; the measurement was performed in compliance with the international standard IEC.

The hydro power plant, which is located about 300 km to the North of Hanoi, will achieve the maximum output 2x27,2 MW. The runners, which will be fabricated in the Litostroj Power, will have a pitch diameter 1720 mm.
