Research and development of high-speed Francis turbine for HPP Doblar 1

The ČKD Blansko Engineering, a.s., under the Litostroj Power, solves a turbine hydraulic design for the head 47 m with unit output 13,7 MW for the existing hydro power plant Doblar 1 in  Slovenia and its  model tests at the hydraulic laboratory in Blansko (Hydraulic Research Center Blansko).
Solving a new runner, we exploit  a computerized system of hydraulic design with gradual corrections to achieve the required efficiencies and cavitation properties of the turbine. The turbine development process will be completed by model testing at the client´ s attendance in half of May  2010.
