HYDROTURBO 2008

The 19th international conference Hydroturbo 2008 was held at the Sport Hotel in Hrotovice on 14 – 16 October 2008. 

ČKD Blansko Engineering, a.s. has the honor of continuing this tradition, and same as in the past years, it took an active part in organizing the 19th Hydroturbo conference also this year (the main organizer was the company ČEZ, a.s. – Hydro power plants; other co-organizers were Slovak power plants, a.s. -  division Hydro power plants, E.ON Energy, a.s.,  Technical University in Brno – Faculty of mechanical engineering,   Viktor Kaplan Institute, Poyry Environment, a.s., ČKD Blansko Holding, a.s., Slovak Technical University in Bratislava).
Last year, the conference was attended by 150 experts in hydro power not only from the Czech and Slovak Republics, but also from Poland, the Ukraine, Hungary, Finland, and Canada.

ČKD Blansko Engineering, a.s. was represented by four papers:
