HYDROVISION INTERNATIONAL 2011, SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA, U.S.A.

On 19 – 22 July, 2011,  one of the most significant events in hydro power, the HydroVision International 2011 took place in Sacramento, U.S.A. Almost 3, 500 visitors from 42 countries  worldwide participated in the event.
The company ČKD Blansko Engineering was represented by Mr Kyzlink and Mr Mikulášek´s paper “Modernization of draft tube flap valves at PSHPP Markersbach“.  The booth of the Litrostroj Power crewed by the Canadian branch office employees was among 311 exhibitors too.
At the conference about 450 papers were rendered. A frequently discussed theme was the increased demand of new PSHPP´s construction in Europe and in America to compensate the power grid fluctuations caused by irregular power supplies from wind and solar power stations.
